Your Tasks

Project Ownership Role

As Lead Project Manager (f/m/d), you will take full ownership for a product development project, overseeing multiple sub-projects within the organization, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution. Your role involves end-to-end ownership of complex, high-impact development initiatives.

Technical Project Management

You will need a deep understanding of technical processes and the ability to navigate complex engineering challenges. That means a significant amount of project management experience in the technical field is essential for this role. This expertise will enable you to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure that project objectives are met within the defined parameters of quality, time, and cost. Your background in technical project management will also be crucial for identifying potential issues early on and implementing effective solutions, ultimately driving the success of high-impact development projects.

Strategic Project Coordination

In this role, you will define lead project objectives, managing project teams, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration. Therefore, you will prepare and implement projects across multiple disciplines, aligning with established goals for quality, time, cost, and staffing. You will set priorities and monitor the project progress to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Additionally, you will ensure that the team is effectively staffed and utilized to maximize efficiency in completing the projects.

Operational Excellence in Projects Management

You will establish robust operating mechanisms to track project progress, identify issues, and develop recovery plans to overcome obstacles. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication and addressing concerns. Major focuses include risk management and quality assurance to ensure project success. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement and mentor project managers, fostering a culture of excellence within the project management team.

Projects Deliverables Management

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, tracking, and managing project deliverables while coordinating cross-functional teams. You will oversee and report key performance indicators to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Your Profile

Education

You need a Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering or Science, such as Physics, Chemistry, or Materials. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the technical aspects of the projects you will manage, enabling you to make informed decisions and effectively communicate with your team.

Experience

You need a minimum of 10 years of project management experience in a high-tech industry, specifically focusing on complex product development projects. This extensive experience is essential for successfully leading and executing multifaceted projects. Additionally, a professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is required to validate your expertise in project management methodologies and practices, ensuring that you are well-equipped to drive project success.

Personality

You need experience in leading and influencing distributed teams, along with exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills that effectively resonate across functions and organizational layers. A strong track record of building and managing relationships at all levels of an organization is essential, showcasing your collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics. Additionally, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with solid project management capabilities, to drive successful outcomes in challenging environments.
