Your Role

  • Drive sales excellence: Expand our presence in existing and new markets (especially BESS) while accelerating business growth by addressing relevant in-bound and out-bound leads with your extended expertise in technical battery related topics.
  • Push product optimisation: Work collaboratively with our product development unit, providing crucial market insights and customer feedback to refine and optimise our offerings, ensuring they align perfectly with market demands.
  • Generate market insights: Conduct thorough market research to uncover unexplored opportunities, deeply understand customer requirements, and analyse strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
  • Advance team development: With a servant leadership approach, lead and/or mentor our expanding sales team, providing clear direction, guidance, support, and identifying avenues for professional growth.
  • Team Work matters: Collaborate closely with the executive team as well as your colleagues in the Business Development & Sales Department, Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Help shaping a greener future: Your work will have a direct impact on the environment and how batteries are being used in the future.

Your Skills

  • Experience: You have a demonstrated track record of at least 2 years in the battery business (ideally BESS) and sales, ideally within the context of a start-up or high-growth environment and can prove extensive expertise in battery systems and/or e-mobility.
  • Existing network: You have a pre-existing network in the domains of BESS and/or battery business of automotive OEMs and can utilise that to increase relevant opportunities.
  • Methodical Sales approach: Your work style is defined by structure, an entrepreneurial way of thinking and a resolute focus on delivering results. Complex environments and projects are just right for you, as they allow you to put your design skills to the test.
  • Team-Oriented Personality: A strategic thinker who remains grounded in a hands-on approach, you personify a team-oriented and servant ethos.
  • Languages: You have excellent communication skills, and confidence in negotiating in business English. Speaking German is a big plus but not required.
