Director Quality (m/w/d)

Job Description

• Direct the tactical and operational activities of the Quality team.
• Develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control plans standards pertaining to materials, techniques, processes and products.
• Ensure total product integrity by providing strategic leadership in establishing a common quality vision, culture, structure, management system, and process.
• Oversee complex technical projects that drive change to product design and/or manufacturing processes. Plan, manage, and oversee the design and implementation of quality measurement programs tailored to identify daily reporting issues and associated controls.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and lead the planning and execution of audit (e.g., ISO) programs to monitor performance and ensure overall compliance.
• Strong at 8D – Root cause analysis; Lean management; ISO certified audits; Redressal of field complaints and customer complaints Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to develop and implement a supplier qualification and performance management process to ensure consistent quality levels
• Supervise a team of members and guide them in the journey to achieve operational and corporate targets
• Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
• Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
