Job Description

Tigo Energy is the worldwide leader in delivering smart hardware and software solutions that enhance safety, increase energy yield, and lower operating costs for the solar industry. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley, CA and has offices and installations all over the world.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid working knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations accounting and intercompany experience. Strong Excel, communication skills, ability to work under limited supervision and perform under pressure are key characteristics of the ideal candidate.

This position is based at our HQ in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for worldwide Invoicing
• Revenue reporting, cash collections and reconcile accounts
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Cash receipts forecasting and reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process and financial forecasting, analyzing variances and providing explanations for discrepancies
• Resolve billing discrepancies and reconciliations
• Internal Audits: Assist in internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and processes
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial decision-making
• and improve financial practices
• Able to present reports to the executive team
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Requirements

• 2-3 years' experience in general accounting in a company with multiple subsidiaries
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong Excel and Financial modeling skills
• NetSuite or Salesforce experience preferred
• Ability to work under limited supervision, independently and collaboratively as part of a team
