Software Engineer .NET

At Zaptec we're looking for a Software Developer .NET to join our team.

What your day would look like

You'll join a team that supports the entire organisation by delivering reliable development environments, cloud-native solutions, and tools that help our engineers move fast and build safely. This is a role for you if you enjoy hands-on coding while also shaping how things are done - someone who thrives in an agile environment, values autonomy, and wants to contribute to a world-leading IoT product suite.

What your day might include

• Build scalable, testable, high-quality code in .NET.
• Design, develop, and maintain shared systems and services used across engineering teams.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and solution design.
• Work with Azure-based cloud services and database technologies such as Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate closely with teammates and never hesitate to suggest better ways of doing things.

You're a developer who cares about clean architecture, good design principles, and code that's easy to maintain. You enjoy solving complex problems that affect many teams, and you're motivated by building systems that make other developers' lives easier. You're curious, collaborative, and excited about the future of electric mobility and large-scale IoT.

As for the skills required for this job

• Solid experience as a .NET developer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with relational databases - ideally Azure SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML is a big plus.
• A good team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, Norwegian is a plus.
• Relevant higher education (BSc/MSc) - or equivalent experience.
