Join the power movement as Director, Enterprise Applications

The Director, Enterprise Systems provides strategic & people leadership to the Enterprise Applications team, as a leadership team member in IT and across CFS. This Director takes ownership of IT's enterprise application ecosystem - including ERP, MES, MRP, PLM, etc. - with accountability for driving business capability improvements, operational efficiency, and scalable digital solutions that support CFS's production, supply chain, quality, and engineering divisions. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery, leading a team that transforms business requirements into durable system solutions aligned with organizational growth objectives.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic and people leadership to the Enterprise Applications team, serving as a leadership team member in IT and across CFS
  • Take ownership of IT's enterprise application ecosystem, including ERP, MES, MRP, PLM, and others
  • Accountable for driving business capability improvements, operational efficiency, and scalable digital solutions that support CFS's production, supply chain, quality, and engineering divisions
  • Serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery
  • Lead a team to transform business requirements into durable system solutions aligned with organizational growth objectives
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with IT policies and governance standards and driving continuous improvement through agile methodologies
  • Develop and manage resource plans and performance metrics
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of managers, developers, analysts, and administrators to foster innovation and operational excellence
  • Translate high-level CFS and IT strategy into actionable group and team objectives
  • Responsible for planning and executing against medium to long-term sub-department or project level objectives, leveraging tools, processes, and technologies that have a cross-functional impact
  • Frequent communication with team members and stakeholders
  • Utilize advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes
  • Foster strong collaboration with other departments, including IT, compliance, finance, supply chain, and production, to ensure seamless data flow and usage across the organization

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field of study

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications or related positions

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale application implementations and support teams

  • Strong understanding of business processes across Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production

  • Experience in enterprise-wide change initiatives, business process reengineering, and digital transformation leadership

  • Expertise in modern development frameworks, integration platforms, and cloud technologies

  • Ability to leverage data-driven insights for application performance and business process optimization

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and demonstrate resilience and change agility

  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion, including resource allocation

  • Leadership & Change Management: Proven leadership abilities within complex environments, adept at navigating ambiguity within a start-up setting, and demonstrated successful change management experience

  • Act as an advocate and leads group culture within their team, across IT and CFS

  • Serve as a mentor and coach, supporting career development, enabling employee training, team-level succession planning, and reinforcing a feedback culture

  • Strategic & Communication Skills: Mastery of the ability to drive innovative thinking, lead and inspire your team, instill collaboration, and respectfully challenge the status quo.

  • Must possess strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, have a bias for action including executive-level presence & reporting, and strong cross-functional collaboration

  • Manages ambiguity and complex situations, delegates authority where appropriate, and demonstrates ability to adapt to dynamic situations

Bonus points for

  • Experience with ERP solutions like Oracle and SAP
  • Experience with MES applications like Siemens Opcenter, ManufacturO or similar platforms
  • Experience with PLM solutions like Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile, and DevOps practices
  • Demonstrated passion for ideation, intellectual curiosity, and innovation.

Must-have requirements

  • Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics

$170,000 - $250,000 a year

Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Benefits include:
