I&C Manager

We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe. We are now looking for an I&C Manager to join our Facility & EPC team!

What you will do

In this position you will play key leadership role in our multidisciplinary Facility Engineering Organization in building the new Gigafactory. As I&C Manager you will manage a team of specialist engineers in your field to successful deliver of the assigned I&C design package. You will have full ownership over the I&C design development process with responsibilities which include but are not limited to organizing your team, developing the deliverable requirements, ensuring the quality of the design, and managing the budget and timeline for the I&C design packages. You will make sure that all project members are well connected and informed, by developing close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include

• Lead the I&C engineering team, providing clear role and responsibilities, leveraging their knowledge and experience to ensure optimal deliverable of the IFC packages.
• Review and/or develop the I&C design requirements and specifications for our project, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Work with the other discipline leads and the Engineering director to ensure proper cross discipline alignment in regards to deliverables, expectations, and data points necessary for a fully compliant design.
• Manage I&C design consultants by establishing the deliverable list for specific design packages, organizing the plan and key milestones to ensure on time commitments are met to successfully drive the project.
• Manage the quality of the design deliverables, ensuring the systems are aligned to the project specification requirements to the project.
• Promote a positive and constructive working relationship with the design consultants on behalf of NOVO Energy.
• Become a binder of the EPCM team, supporting on developing the organization accordingly to company mission and supporting hand in hand team members.

Skills & Requirements

• BSc degree within relevant field: Construction management-, civil-, structural-, mechanical-, chemical-, electrical- or architectural engineering or similar.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience in large-scale construction projects with considerable multidisciplinary complexity.
• Highly organized with excellent communication & collaboration skills with strong skills to contribute to team effort.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Swedish is a plus.

• Experience from Greenfield Projects.
• Experience from Swedish construction.
• Experience in a multicultural environment.
• Experience within general contractor or EPC organization environment is an added value.
