Solar Project Engineer (Temp)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with relevant parties to conduct site surveys for the feasibility of Solar PV system installation
• Coordinate with relevant parties to conduct hoisting, tie-in, PV turn on activities as and when required
• Perform authority submission tracking such as CS1 and CAAS/RSAF lifting approvals
• To manage tracking relating to project progress
• Coordinate with 3rd parties and authorities for site visits
• Documentation tracking/uploading of documents into SharePoint
• Understand basic design principles of solar photovoltaic systems with experience working in the industry
• Familiar with solar PV installations for distributed rooftop and utility scale PV projects

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering/Renewable energy related field or equivalent experience
• Understanding and knowledge of electrical design and specification of high-tension and low-tension electrical systems
• Able to take ownership and work independently under light supervision
• Adaptable and goal oriented to ensure timely delivery of work
• Able to contribute and work efficiently as a team member and achieve objectives as a group
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Excel formula would be an added bonus
• Good learning attitude
