Reporting to the Country Administration Manager and Finance Manager, we are looking for a Senior Accountant based in Ciudad de Mexico.

What will you do?

• Supervise critical accounting processes ensuring the completion of the general accounting entries, being accountable of leading the monthly closing process.
• Responsible of providing information to departments in the country by the analysis and research of accounting data.
• Support daily work of other administration areas.
• Perform technical and administrative tasks regarding the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements, assisting local team and supporting external audit process at the year end.
• Review accounting and prepare financial reports.
• Provide information for the preparation and execution of tax compliance.
• Fulfilling surveys from other department or external third parties.
• Responsible for keeping financial, accounting and tax documentation in the country.
• Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
• Ensure X-ELIO procedures are implemented if applicable, provide assistance during implementation of SAP new version.

What do we need?

• Bachelor degree in Accounting.
• At least 5 years experienced in a similar position and accountability of a large international company within the sector.
• Deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard.
• Fluent in English
• Highly versed in SAP (Advanced user level SAP FI and basic knowledge SAP TRM) and high level user of Office package tools.
• Inter-personal skills and used to work in a multi-task way. Great work autonomy and deadline-oriented.
• Deep understanding on local tax requirements and compliance.
• Knowledge on project finance documents
