We are looking for a forward-thinking IT Engineer to lead our IT infrastructure operations, with a strong focus on automation, cloud migration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transitioning our on-prem Entra ID and SD-WAN to the cloud, enhancing security through Intune, configuring patch automation, and streamlining laptop installations using Autopilot. This role demands a high level of independence, technical expertise in Microsoft solutions, and a drive to implement efficient, automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the migration of on-premises Entra ID and SD-WAN to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal security
• Optimize Intune for enhanced security and device management, integrating automation where possible
• Implement and manage a patch automation system using a third-party tool to ensure all devices and systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches
• Configure Microsoft Autopilot for streamlined laptop provisioning, reducing manual efforts in installation and wiping processes
• Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, prioritizing and overseeing the implementation of IT infrastructure changes
• Develop a robust IT infrastructure strategy focused on automation and efficiency, aligning with the organization’s objectives.
• Proactively manage risks and implement security best practices across all IT operations
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful integration of automated solutions and the continuous improvement of IT services
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft technologies and automation trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization
• Mentor and guide IT team members in automation techniques and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with a strong emphasis on IT automation and cloud services or equivalent
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and Intune) are highly desirable
• 5 years of relevant experience in IT Automation, Cloud Migration, Microsoft solutions in Autopilot
• Extensive experience in cloud migrations, particularly with Microsoft Entra and SD-WAN, and in setting up automated patch management and device provisioning systems
• Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and other automation tools, with a proven track record of enhancing IT operations through automation
• Ability to independently lead and manage complex IT projects and changes, including chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency
• Advanced communication and leadership abilities, capable of driving technological change and innovation within an organization
