Internship – Project Manager Assistant for Solar Development and Agri-Energy – Nantes

Main Tasks

The main tasks that the Project Manager Assistant will work on are as follows:

• Participate in land prospecting using the tools developed by the Group, assist land developers in signing lease promises and leases;
• Provide knowledge and experience of the agricultural economic fabric to refine the choice of prospecting areas for the Grand Ouest agency;
• Work with the development team on project design, preliminary projects, site layouts, production estimates, connections, environmental studies, and any other steps related to project advancement;
• Participate in the development of technical studies and all project development actions: maps, plans, calculations, drafting of files, consultation meetings, etc.;
• Participate in the preparation of bid responses (notably CRE or Corporate PPA);
• Engage with agricultural stakeholders to demonstrate the legitimacy and expertise of the QAIR Group;
• Work with the Group’s Agri-Energy Referents on the definition and techno-economic feasibility studies of agricultural projects related to the implementation of solar projects and support teams on any actions related to Agrivoltaic projects;
• Ensure monitoring and share various agricultural, regulatory, and scientific publications and feedback on Agrivoltaic projects;
• Collaborate with internal support services and other project managers;
• Participate in the contracting and monitoring of service providers and their tasks.

Skills Required

Educational Background:

An Engineer/Master’s degree, from an engineering school in Agronomy and Agriculture or general (ESA, Agro, Mines, Centrale, IFPEN, etc.), business school (HEC, ESCP, ESSEC, etc.), or university (Dauphine, IEP, etc.)), with a genuine interest in the agricultural sector, sustainable development, and renewable energy in particular.

Skills:

• Strong writing and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computer tools
• Knowledge of software such as AUTOCAD, Arcview, Map Info (GIS), or planning software is a plus
• Rigorous, methodical, and enjoys teamwork
• Highly motivated to contribute to the energy transition

Additional Qualifications:

Ideally, solid knowledge of agriculture, particularly livestock systems (ruminants and monogastrics).
