Lead Full Stack Developer (m/w/d)

In order to fundamentally shape the future of Off-Grid, we are now looking for a hands-on programmer and exceptional system architect who will be leading a team of 3 other developers as our Lead Full Stack Developer.

Your duties

• Lead Full Stack Development: Design and implement scalable, data-driven applications and system architecture using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Rust in a Linux based environment.
• Optimize Data Management: Develop solutions with TimeScale and PostgreSQL for efficient time-series data handling, along with InfluxDB for real-time analytics.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to develop solutions that align with our mission to provide off-grid energy solutions.
• Enhance User Experience: Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces for energy data visualization, providing users with actionable insights.
• Prioritize: You are able to prioritize tasks and development steps for yourself and your team and communicate and delegate them clearly.
• Integrate Communication Protocols: Enable seamless communication across devices using MQTT, I2C, SPI and Modbus, etc protocols, supporting robust energy data collection and management.

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally within the energy or IoT sector.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols like MQTT and Modbus and rest API.
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust, React and NodeJs, with strong experience in backend services.
• You are a linux system engineer by heart, ideally having experience since an early age.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with TimeScale, PostgreSQL and InfluxDB for time-sensitive and real-time data storage, plus good understanding of relational Databases.
• Ideally first experience in leading a team with agile methodologies.
