What you would be expected to do
- Lead the development of the product roadmap and strategy for Sun King’s solar home systems and related products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Drive the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, training materials, and marketing collateral.
- Act as a product evangelist, communicating product vision and benefits to internal and external stakeholders.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, design) or equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the renewable energy, consumer electronics, or related industries.
- Have a strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Have experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
