Job Description
Arcosa Structural Wind Towers Inc., an Arcosa company, is seeking an Engineering Intern.
As an Engineer Intern, you will work with the continuous improvement team in the Tulsa plant to perform time and motion studies. This is a paid internship.
What You’ll Do
- Handle daily manufacturing issues, as well as tooling, lift devices and conceptual design.
- Assist in production scheduling in a high production, quick paced environment.
- Ensure that internal processes and instructions meet customer demand and requirement.
- Position will be hands on.
- Assist with troubleshoot manufacturing, quality and assembly issues using data analysis.
- Work with Quality, Continuous Improvement and Maintenance to solve problems.
- Assist manufacturing engineers in daily production support activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing or Weld Engineering.
- Must be Junior or Senior status.
- Strong computer and presentation skills.
- Depending upon experience, may also participate in project scheduling, material selection and product preparation.
