Senior Project Controller

For our German office in Hamburg-Stellingen, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Senior Project Controller (m/f/d).

Your Role

As part of our Finance team, you will take responsibility for project controlling in the NCE region. You ensure transparency in project finances, support project management in making informed decisions, and ensure that results are accurately reflected in the ERP system.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, you ideally bring:

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (additional qualifications such as CPA/ACA/CIA are a plus)
• Several years of experience in project controlling or finance
• Strong skills in financial modeling, reporting tools, and Excel
• Analytical thinking, responsibility, and decisiveness
• Team player with strong communication skills and resilience
• Verry good English skills

Your Role

As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and managing project finances: budgeting, forecasting, reporting
• Analyzing variances and taking appropriate action
• Preparing monthly accounts, provisions, and reviewing POC% and margins
• Optimizing cash flow and revenue recognition in close collaboration with project management
• Calculating bonuses and average rates for technicians
• Participating in project reviews and closely coordinating with Controlling and Planning teams
• Identifying financial risks and proactively communicating them to management and project leadership
