Job Description
You deliver route-to-market PPAs for our growing portfolio of wind and solar assets. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients in the wholesale energy markets with focus on Italy and Spain, and several other key European energy markets. You will build up and maintain relations with renewable asset owners. You will deepen our market knowledge and propose ideas how to structure and differentiate our product offering. You will explain and collect feedback on product innovations, from ancillary services on renewables, commercial curtailment, or batteries colocation. You will travel to conferences and represent Second Foundation in front of senior stakeholder groups.
What makes you a great candidate
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, i.e. renewables energy offtake or energy market wholesale sales.
- A strong network of renewable asset owners in Italy or Spain and some other European energy markets.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating of high value contracts.
- Full proficiency in English, oral and written. Proficiency in Italian or Spanish would be a strong advantage.
- Understanding of route-to-market contracts, energy markets, PPAs, guarantees of origin, or power grid flexibility.
- Proven ability to setup long term partnerships, with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.???
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks and focusing on what brings the most value, with the ability to manage discussions across multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive and independent fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to conferences.
- Based in Prague, CZ or Berlin, DE. We can consider an alternative of foreign base in one of our key markets with frequent travel to our HQ.
