Job Description
Supervise team for coordination with the Customs / Customs House Agents for Seam-less Import and Export Clearance and all related documentation including Project Imports and Export Shipments as per project / ENERCON guidelines.
Experience in handling challenges while moving ODC like Generators, Nacelle, Blades, Hubs from/to Ports/Factories
Responsible for Insurance management including insurance surveys & claim management
Responsible for relations with Customs and service providers to maintain efficiency of the Customs/Logistics activities.
Cost control and reduction from Transport / logistics budget.
Responsible to decide on necessary ware-housing infrastructure and strategy by keeping tax and cost implications in mind.
Responsible to provide necessary support to cross functions by co-ordinating with Global Logistics counter parts in Headquarter/ other regions.
Knowledge of various delivery terms and special sales terms like High Sea Sale to en-sure customs activities in accordance with it.
Familiar with oversized cargo transports
Experience in leading negotiations with transport and port companies
Knowledge about contractual agreements with logistics service providers
Compliance and Process Owner (strategic and compliance role)
Understanding of Indian Customs system for various import and export schemes/FTPs (Foreign trade Policies) and guiding Organization on availing various duty saving schemes.
Knowledge of handling of License Applications with Customs like EPCG, Advance License and issue of the license.
Responsible to design and implement internal process for compliant documentation and other customs/ logistics requirements.
Responsible for timely closure of all license obligation with necessary documentation.
Responsible to maintain documentation related to SVB and closure of Customs SVB assessment.
Responsible to track export commitments, license utilization, periodic renewal of various customs documentation on time.

Your qualifications
BE with MBA preferred
>15 Years experience in logistic operation with good knowledge of import / export logistic
Interaction with german HQ - Reporting line to MD INdia and Vice President Global Logistics
