Job Description
GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.
What you can expect
We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer (m/f/d) to join our growing team in Poland. In this role, you will support the design and execution of ground-mounted PV and BESS projects. Furthermore, you will deliver structural calculations and foundation designs in line with Eurocodes and Polish building regulations.
Tasks
- Design concrete foundations, site roads, and supporting structures
- Prepare structural calculations and foundation drawings
- Optimize table design and layout for PV plants
- Review technical documentation from structure manufacturers
- Read and check soil studies from third-party providers
- Assess risks related to soil, slopes, and flood zones
- Support the engineering team with layouts and plant design
- Supervise installation works on site
- Support the qualification of new structure suppliers
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- At least three years of experience in structural calculations
- Experience with foundations and structural design
- Good English communication skills
- Good knowledge of Polish building regulations and Eurocodes
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with structural software (e.g. RFEM, RSTAB, SCIA, Civil 3D, Inventor)
- Willingness to travel within Poland
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexible and hands-on working style
- Polish language skills are a plus
- "Uprawnienia budowlane w specjalności konstrukcyjno-budowlanej" is an advantage
