We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join OTC Flow as a Commercial Strategy Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our growth by identifying market opportunities, developing actionable go-to-market strategies, and empowering our Sales Traders with data-driven insights.

This position requires exceptional analytical skills, strategic vision, and the ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable business cases. You will not be selling directly but will act as a key strategist, helping to steer our commercial decisions and unlock new areas of opportunity.

About the Role

With 2+ years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capitals, or Investment Banking, you excel at identifying and developing high-potential trading and brokering opportunities in renewable energy and environmental commodities markets. Your strategic insight and market intelligence will directly drive our Sales Trading team's P&L growth.

This pivotal role requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. You're not just intelligent; you're commercially astute, articulate, and skilled at translating strategies into clear, compelling actions that energize the team and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Seize new market opportunities: You will own the creation of new market opportunities in renewable energy, carbon credits, and environmental commodities, aligning your vision with OTC Flow's strategy to drive exponential growth.
• Empower Sales Traders' success: Work closely with sales traders and brokers to identify and execute profitable trading opportunities with speed and precision. Your influence will be the catalyst for their success.
• Strategic leadership: Analyze market trends, ask the right questions, and develop actionable insights that redefine our trading strategies and ensure we stay ahead of the competition.
• Lead with expertise: You will be the go-to authority, always at the cutting edge of new developments, regulations, and market dynamics. Your insights will fuel our origination efforts and maximize profitability.
• Build winning business cases: Create robust, ready to use business cases for entering new markets or launching new products, ensuring strategic growth and optimal market penetration.
• Deliver maximum results: You'll drive P&L growth by identifying, executing, and expanding high-value opportunities that define our success.
• Leverage your financial edge: Use your expertise in investment banking and advanced modeling to assess risks, forecast returns, and evaluate opportunities that matter.

Requirements

• Proven track record: You have 2+ years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capitals, or Investment Banking with a solid history of deal-making and market analysis. You consistently exceed expectations and deliver results that set you apart.
• Ambition for success: A sharp, ambitious drive to succeed in the environmental commodities and renewable energy markets, with the flexibility to adapt in this evolving space.
• Exceptional academic credentials: A Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with outstanding academic performance. You can validate your achievements by providing A+ grade lists.
• Commercial instinct: A strong commercial acumen with proven experience in identifying and capitalizing on high-value business opportunities, always focused on driving growth and maximizing profitability.
• Drive for excellence: You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, working closely with Sales Traders, where you challenge yourself and others to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Strategic vision: Skilled at analyzing market trends and developing compelling business cases for new market entries or profitable trading strategies.

• Language proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
