As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play an integral part in the safeguarding of Ecotricity's digital assets, data and IT infrastructure from potential cyber threats. You will be responsible for maintaining & continually improving robust security platforms and controls, whilst ensuring alignment with company policies. We are looking for someone who is proactive beyond simply configuring security systems, and who can also identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Implement security measures and controls to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and threats.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Cyber Security role.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security architecture.
- Experience with security tools and technologies.
