Job Description

Our RTS Wind Group company Ventus Energy is seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer (m/f/d) to join their dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing successful project acquisitions.

The Tendering Engineer will join a talented team within Ventus Energy's Projects division, responsible for delivering cable jointing, termination & testing and high voltage engineering services, including fault location and repair, across a range of high voltage infrastructure projects, both offshore and onshore.

Requirements

  • IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc.)
  • Team player
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Organisation skills
  • Familiar with offshore wind terminology and specifications
  • Previous experience of tendering in the offshore wind renewables environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarisation with MS Project
  • Understanding of electrical testing
  • Understanding of termination and testing in the offshore wind sector
  • Contractual understanding
  • Commercially astute
  • High voltage engineering background

Key Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work within our busy tendering team. Based at our North Shields office, your duties will include:

  • Turn-key proposal/tendering activities
  • Assisting with management of the bid processes
  • Appraisal of RFQ documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Host/attend internal, client and supplier meetings
  • Coordination and management of proposals
  • Creation and Compilation of tender documents
  • Liaison with various internal personnel
  • Communication with clients
  • Submission of proposals
