Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Roofer to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of carpentry and repair tasks, including roofing, siding, drywall work, and structural improvements related to solar installations. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments prior to project start, including measurements and documentation
- Perform structural upgrades such as framing and sistering rafters
- Diagnose and repair roof leaks efficiently and safely
- Complete repairs related to solar installations, including siding and drywall
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including photos and site details
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow company vehicle policies and safety regulations
- Assist with general construction and maintenance tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and roofing techniques
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to adapt to a variety of construction and maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
Education & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in carpentry or related field preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on roofs for extended periods
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs regularly
