高级现场运营专员
Job Description
Empower industries with renewable thermal energy.
At Kyoto Group, we are on a mission to make renewable energy the easy choice for industries. Our innovative thermal battery technology enables industries to replace fossil fuels with clean electricity for heat production - without compromising efficiency, stability, or cost. Since industrial heat accounts for nearly half of global energy consumption, our solutions are crucial in driving a sustainable transition.
By storing renewable energy as heat and making it available when needed, we empower industries to embrace variable energy sources like wind and solar. Kyoto Group is more than a company - it's a movement towards a greener future.
Kyoto's vision
A world powered by Nature.
Kyoto Group is named after the Kyoto Protocol, an international treaty to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change. The Protocol represents a significant step in global efforts to address climate change, setting the stage for future agreements like the Paris Agreement. Kyoto Group aims to revolutionise industrial process heat and reduce CO2 emissions.

Acting as the operational link between customers, service partners, and internal teams, you will drive asset performance, operational excellence, and safety while supporting the commissioning and scale-up of new installations. This is a hands-on, international role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, problem-solving, and field leadership.
Responsibilities
- installations, promoting a proactive safety culture and adherence to Kyoto's HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance through remote and on-site operational support, leveraging SCADA systems, data analysis, and technical expertise to maximize uptime, efficiency, and reliability.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems, implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve asset performance.
- Coordinate field operations, maintenance activities, inspections, and emergency response efforts in collaboration with customers, contractors, and service partners to ensure effective and timely issue resolution.
- Act as Kyoto's technical representative on-site, providing training, mentoring, and operational guidance while developing and maintaining operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and best practices.

- Several years of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial systems within sectors such as thermal energy, power generation, offshore, marine, or process industries.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment and processes, with the ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Experience working with SCADA, DCS, or similar monitoring and control systems to support safe and efficient operations.
- Proven track record in preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of industrial safety, HSE requirements, and risk management practices.
- Experience leading, training, or supporting operators, technicians, contractors, or service partners in the field.
- Familiarity with thermal energy storage, molten salt systems, or related industrial heat technologies is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.
Who are you?
- Comfortable with regular international travel and extended periods on-site when required.
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to make sound decisions under operational pressure.
