Rabot Energy is an independent provider of dynamic electricity tariffs with 100% green energy. Through our innovative procurement strategies, we ensure both ecological sustainability and cost optimization in home energy management. By passing on wholesale electricity market prices directly to our customers, we are able to reduce their electricity bills by an average of 35%.

Owners of electric vehicles and smart meters benefit particularly from our dynamic electricity tariff, as they can automatically charge their vehicles at home when electricity prices on the exchange are especially low. In the Rabot Energy app, charging preferences can be easily set and current market electricity prices can be tracked in real time.

Your Mission

Our Energy Data Management team makes sure we understand, monitor and forecast our energy data. As we grow, the demands grow with us - and that's exactly where you come in.

You support the team in building monitoring dashboards, running data analyses and working on forecasting methods. You work with our quarter-hourly energy time series, turn raw data into clear visualizations, and help the team keep the overview. No practice exercises - real data we use every day.

Your Results

We think in outcomes, not task lists. If you're successful, here's what that looks like:

Month 3 (Ramp-up)

  • Your onboarding is largely complete.
  • Your first monitoring dashboard is live and used by the team.

Month 6 (Performance)

  • You've successfully delivered two more dashboards.

Month 12 (Scale)

  • You know our quarter-hourly energy time series well enough to independently build further dashboards and support the team with data analyses and forecasting methods.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Analyst: You bring solid data analysis skills and have ideally already worked with time-series analysis.
  • Student: You're enrolled - e.g. in a data, science, business or technical field of study - and eligible to work with us as a working student.
  • Structure-bringer: You work in a structured, process-oriented way and keep the overview even with a lot of data points.
  • Ownership: You take ownership, bring initiative and don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Team player: You enjoy working closely with a small team.

Bonus: SQL skills and initial experience with dbt.
