This position is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure across various technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and tools. The role works closely with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners to solve problems, improve systems, evaluate new tools, and support technology projects that directly impact SEIA's staff and mission. It is a strong opportunity for a practical, curious IT professional who enjoys learning new technologies, taking ownership of core systems, and helping others work more effectively.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage day-to-day technical support for staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, account access, meeting room, phone system, cloud application, and other end-user technology needs.

  • Provide technical guidance for team members, support key business events and perform other related duties as assigned, including limited after-hours support when necessary.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to 3rd party service providers and implementation partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive IT experience, including systems administration, cloud administration, end-user support, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 suite of products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, RingCentral, licensing, security settings, and user account management.
  • Experience with Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, including identity management, MFA, conditional access, security groups, access reviews, and user administration.

Working Condition

  • Position is full-time.
  • This position is based in the Washington, D.C. office. SEIA employees in the Washington, D.C. region follow a hybrid remote and in-person office model. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 3 days a week in SEIA's offices.
  • Minimal travel is required for this role (all-staff events and gatherings)
  • Occasionally required to work after business hours to perform system maintenance, deployment, or support business events.

  • $80,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience, with an excellent benefits package.
