Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

About the position

Designed for local school leavers, our four-year apprentice program provides pathways to achieve a trade certificate as a Fitter & Machinist, an Electrician, or an Electronics & Communications technician. Through TAFE, successful candidates will work towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, Engineering - Mechanical Trade, or Electronics and Communications, supported by practical on-the-job training and guidance from our skilled tradespersons.

To broaden your skill set, this apprenticeship offers potential rotations across various Snowy Scheme operating and maintenance hubs, including Jindabyne, Cooma, Cabramurra, Khancoban, and Talbingo.
