大约 10 名员工(来源: purevolt.ie)。

Job Description

PureVolt Solar, an SEAI-registered solar panel installation company, is hiring a Customer Care Coordinator for our Cork office. This is a brand-new role that sits right at the heart of the business - a hybrid of administration and customer support.

You will work alongside our technical team, taking on the people-facing admin, phone, and scheduling work that makes our business tick. You will be the friendly first voice on the phone, the person keeping the installation calendar running smoothly, and the one making sure the paperwork and stock are exactly where they need to be.

This role could be a good fit for you if...

  • You genuinely enjoy picking up the phone to make things happen - whether that's being the friendly first voice for a new customer, or calling a client with the good news that we can pull their installation forward.
  • You don't like it when things are messy or left to chance, and you have the confidence to speak up and say, "We need to get this organised."
  • You are a proactive problem-solver, not a passive note-taker. You want to learn enough to answer the customer's question yourself, rather than just writing down a message and passing it to the technical team.
  • You aren't intimidated by technology. You don't need to be a solar expert today, but you are curious about how things work and won't panic when we teach you the difference between a kilowatt and a kilowatt-hour.
  • You love playing "Tetris" with a calendar. You get satisfaction out of seeing how customer availability, installer schedules, and stock levels all fit together to make a week run smoothly.
  • You possess a rare mix of traits: you are genuinely interested in people and hearing their stories, but also practical enough to grasp the concrete rules of how a solar system goes together.
  • You take pride in keeping the "back office" running seamlessly, finding quiet satisfaction in nailing the details on solar grant paperwork, managing the inbox, and keeping stock levels exactly where they need to be.
  • You want to be the organisational anchor for a fast-growing team, working side by side with our technical specialists - everyone doing what they do best.

What will your day-to-day duties be?

You don't need any experience in solar energy or solar PV systems to succeed in this role. We will provide all the training you need to nail these day-to-day duties and love your job.

  • Answering incoming calls - being the friendly first voice, gathering customer information, and triaging enquiries to the right person.
  • Managing the installation calendar - scheduling jobs, rescheduling when things move, and keeping customers and installers in the loop.
  • Managing stock - keeping stock levels accurate so we always know what we have and where it's going.
  • Completing solar grant paperwork and keeping installation records tidy and accurate.
  • Looking after office admin - insurance, motor tax, the general inbox, and the day-to-day bits and pieces that keep the office running.
  • Building basic solar PV system designs in our design software and double-checking equipment lists before final designs go out. You would receive training in this.
  • Simple bookkeeping or accounting. You would not need any experience in this and would receive training as needed.

What are we looking for?

We are recruiting for personality first. Skills and experience matter, but ultimately we're looking for the right person. Your application should show evidence of how you have applied these traits in the past.

Essential skills / attributes

  • You genuinely love being on the phone and talking to people.
  • You love being organised - you plan ahead and feel uncomfortable when things are left to chance.
  • You are comfortable with technology and office systems, and you're keen to learn new ones.
  • You are a proactive problem-solver - you'd rather find the answer than just pass a message along.
  • You are confident speaking up when something needs to get organised.

Desirable skills / attributes

  • Experience in an admin, customer service, or scheduling role
  • Familiarity with accounts or bookkeeping (not required - fully trainable)
  • An interest in renewable energy and what PureVolt does
  • Experience with solar is desirable but not essential

Training provided

You do not need to know anything about solar. We will train you on everything - our systems, our design software, and enough solar basics that you can confidently answer everyday questions on the phone. If you're a quick learner who enjoys getting your head around new things, you'll pick it up fast.

Hours and Location

This is an in-person, in-office role based at our Cork office: PureVolt Solar, Unit 10, John Dunlop Building, Marina Commercial Park, Centre Park Road, Cork, T12 WRX0.

We are open to both part-time and full-time arrangements - for example, school-hours can work for the right person. Salary will depend on experience and the number of hours agreed.

Any questions?

If you have questions, that's a good thing! We want to make sure you have every opportunity to assess us. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We'll be happy to help.

How to apply

To apply, please complete our short online application form (via Google Forms). You will be able to attach your CV to that form, no cover letter needed.
