Job Description

At Full Circle, we've built our reputation on doing what we say we'll do, supporting each other when it matters and delivering for our customers. As we continue to grow across the UK and Europe, the importance of having the right supply chain foundations in place has never been greater.

We're looking for an experienced International Supply Chain Manager to help shape the next stage of our supply chain operation. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role will have end-to-end responsibility for procurement, inventory management, logistics and warehousing across our international business. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving performance and building capability in a growing business. Someone who can bring visibility, consistency and control to a growing operation whilst developing the people, processes and partnerships needed to support the next phase of growth. You'll work closely with colleagues across Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Warehousing and Field Service teams, ensuring critical components are available to support both planned and reactive activities across the UK and Europe.

As the business continues to evolve, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and developing our wider supply chain capability, balancing strategic procurement, supplier management and operational supply chain excellence to support sustainable growth.

Initially, we expect the successful candidate to be primarily and full-time based in Livingston, where our International Supply Chain team and largest warehouse operation are located. Being close to the operation is important in building the understanding and relationships needed to create long-term success.

Responsibilities

In simple terms, the International Supply Chain Manager ensures that the right parts are in the right place at the right time and at the right cost. This enables us to deliver scheduled maintenance, unscheduled repairs, major component exchanges and blade services safely, efficiently and to the standards our customers expect. Ultimately, it helps us keep turbines turning and minimise downtime for our customers. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. It requires someone who can think long-term whilst staying close enough to the day-to-day operation to make things happen.

Strategy and Processes

  • Develop and implement the international supply chain strategy in line with business growth plans and operational requirements.
  • Create an integrated approach to procurement, inventory management, logistics and warehousing across the business.
  • Establish scalable supply chain processes, governance and reporting structures capable of supporting continued growth.
  • Establish inventory policies, stock levels, reorder points and forecasting processes to support customer demand.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality, environmental, customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive standardisation and best practice whilst recognising local operational requirements where necessary.

Procurement and Supplier Management

  • Lead procurement activities across the business, ensuring the availability of goods and services in line with operational requirements.
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships across Europe and internationally.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing frameworks and service level agreements to deliver value and reduce risk.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs including delivery performance, lead times, quality and cost.
  • Identify alternative sourcing strategies and supply chain risk mitigation plans.
  • Support business growth by establishing supplier capability and capacity aligned to future demand.

Demand and Availability of Parts

  • Oversee inventory planning and critical stock control across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Ensure critical components are available to support both scheduled and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Manage warehousing and logistics operations, including inbound freight, storage, transportation and distribution.
  • Lead demand planning and forecasting processes using operational requirements, customer commitments and historical data.
  • Create greater transparency and control over inventory, logistics costs, supplier performance and forecasting accuracy.

Performance Management

  • Develop supply chain reporting and performance dashboards for senior management.
  • Support the implementation of a new ERP system to enhance procurement and supply chain visibility and capability.
  • Use data and insight to identify risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives.
  • Measure and report performance across procurement, inventory, logistics and warehousing functions.

Commercial Improvement

  • Analyse inventory performance and implement initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete stock whilst maintaining service levels.
  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities across procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
  • Support business performance through effective working capital and inventory management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain.

People Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, coach and develop the supply chain, procurement, logistics and warehouse teams with high engagement as a result.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, succession plans and ways of working.
  • Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Commercial and Operations teams to ensure priorities remain aligned.
  • Act as a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Operations and Commercial functions.
  • Support business development activities by providing supply chain expertise for new contracts, customer proposals and market expansion opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics and inventory management within a highly technical, engineering-led or industrial services environment.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-country supply chain operations across the UK and Europe.
  • Experience leading procurement and supplier management activities with a demonstrable track record of delivering commercial value.
  • Experience leading, developing and supporting teams within an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics, customs processes, import/export requirements, border controls and post-Brexit supply chain challenges.
  • A track record of building, developing or improving supply chain functions within a growing organisation.
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, demand forecasting, warehousing and logistics operations.
  • Strong supplier management, contract negotiation and procurement skills.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical components, spare parts management and equipment lifecycle planning.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance service, inventory and cost considerations.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across operational, commercial and engineering teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% across Europe.
  • Additional European language skills would be an advantage.
