Become part of our Hamburg or Bremen team as a Document Controller (all genders). You will support our offshore wind projects by ensuring the consistent, accurate and structured management of project documentation. Working closely with project teams and internal and external stakeholders, you will help establish effective document control processes, maintain high data quality and ensure that relevant documentation is accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Your future tasks

• Support the implementation and maintenance of document control processes and systems across assigned projects and work packages.
• Manage, review, classify and archive project documentation in accordance with established procedures and project requirements.
• Support the configuration, structure and day-to-day use of electronic document management systems such as Oracle Aconex and SharePoint.
• Maintain the central project document repository and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, properly structured and easily accessible.
• Monitor document quality, metadata and compliance with defined document control standards.
• Coordinate document exchanges and handovers between project teams, work packages, project phases and external stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for project team members regarding document management processes, systems and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues on document control requirements and the use of relevant systems.
• Support the development of templates, tools and document management processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in lessons learned and knowledge-sharing activities to further improve document management practices across projects.

Your profile

• At least three years of professional experience in document control, preferably within offshore wind, infrastructure, engineering or construction projects.
• A business or technical education, or a comparable qualification gained through relevant professional experience.
• Practical experience with electronic document management systems; experience with Oracle Aconex is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of document control principles and documentation requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience working with digital document management platforms such as SharePoint and/or Aconex.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• A structured and detail-oriented way of working combined with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high quality standards even under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an international and multidisciplinary project environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project requirements.
