Help shape Northern Ireland's energy future

At Power NI, we're proud to be Northern Ireland's most trusted energy supplier, serving homes, businesses and communities across the region.

We are looking for enthusiastic, people-focused individuals to join us as Field Sales Representatives. This role is about more than sales. It's about building relationships, helping customers make informed energy choices, and representing a leading brand that customers know and trust.

Whether you're an experienced sales professional, a customer service expert, or someone looking to take the next step in a people-focused career, we'd love to hear from you.

Why this role?

Unlike traditional field sales positions, this role offers the freedom to manage your own schedule, and the support of a well-established, collaborative team. We offer hours that suit your lifestyle that will provide you with a better work life balance.

You'll have the flexibility to organise your working day, develop meaningful customer relationships, and build a rewarding career. With the support of an experienced team and ongoing guidance and encouragement from your Team Leader, you'll have the coaching and practical support to help you grow, develop your skills, and succeed in your role.

Work-life balance & flexibility

At Power NI, we understand that everyone has commitments outside of work. We support our employees by offering:

  • Flexibility in planning your working day
  • Flexible working patterns (no weekend working)
  • Autonomy to manage appointments and customer visits
  • A culture that values wellbeing as much as performance
  • A focus on quality customer engagement

We believe great results come from supporting our people to thrive both professionally and personally.

The Role

What you'll be doing

As a Field Sales Representative, you will:

  • Be out in the community, speaking directly with residents, going door-to-door, and helping customers make the switch to Northern Ireland's most trusted energy supplier.
  • Help customers understand Power NI's products and services.
  • Build trusted relationships with homeowners and businesses.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate energy solutions.
  • Schedule and manage customer appointments.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for Power NI in every interaction.
  • Deliver excellent customer experiences while contributing to business objectives.
  • Manage your own diary and plan your territory effectively.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with compliance and quality standards.

  • Sales
  • Customer service
  • Retail
  • Hospitality
  • Account management

  • Community engagement

What you'll need

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Great confidence with the ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • A positive, self-motivated and resilient approach

Career development

Whether you want to become a top-performing consultant, move into leadership, or explore other opportunities within the Group, we'll help you reach your potential.

A workplace where everyone belongs

At Power NI, we believe diverse teams create better outcomes for our customers. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and life stages, including those returning to work after a career break, changing careers, or re-entering the workforce.

If you're excited by this opportunity but don't meet every criterion, we still encourage you to apply. Your skills, experience and potential may make you exactly who we're looking for.
