  • Oversee energy scheduling, bidding and offering strategies, settlements, confirmations, and reconciliation processes.
  • Negotiate, execute, and manage power sales agreements, hedges, and structured products.

Hydro Portfolio Optimization

  • Coordinate closely with plant operations to optimize dispatch, outage planning, and water value across hydropower facilities.
  • Integrate hydrology forecasts, reservoir constraints, and operational flexibility into market and bilateral trading decisions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance versus budget, forecast, and market benchmarks; recommend and implement corrective actions.

Market Analysis & Commercial Strategy

  • Monitor ISO/RTO market rules, pricing dynamics, congestion patterns, bilateral market conditions, and regulatory developments.
  • Analyze historical and forward price curves to identify commercial opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate trading strategies, asset performance, bilateral contracts, and commercial transactions.
  • Support development, acquisition, and financing activities through market, pricing, and revenue diligence.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Serve as a primary commercial interface with ISOs/RTOs, bilateral counterparties, utilities, brokers, and trading partners.
  • Provide clear market insights, performance reporting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead continuous improvement of forecasting, analytics, and data processes supporting trading and energy management.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, or mentorship to supporting staff or cross-functional teams, as applicable.

Education & Experience Requirements

Required

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Preferred

例如,他们从2017年收购的位于缅因州肯纳贝克河的Anson(9兆瓦)和Abenaki(19兆瓦)设施每年提供约1.5亿千瓦时的电力(来源: eaglecreekre.com)。

Eagle Creek在完成项目方面有着显著的业绩,包括梅诺米尼河设施,其中包括Little Quinnesec(9.1兆瓦,威斯康星州尼亚加拉)、Park Mill(2.274兆瓦,威斯康星州马里内特)和Menominee(2.074兆瓦,密歇根州梅诺米尼)。
