IT Product Specialist – Projects & Procurement

In this role you will ensure that our ERP system, IFS, and other business tools are effectively configured to meet both current and future business needs, particularly in projects and procurement. Working closely with process experts and owners, the IT Specialist will drive system improvements and contribute to the strategic direction of our tools. As part of the IT Business Solutions Team, you will collaborate with colleagues working on IFS Cloud Implementation, process specialists, IT teams, and external IT partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure IFS ERP and other business tools support project & procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants for system configurations.
• Validate updates and enhancements to align with business needs.
• Refine system workflows to improve efficiency and usability.
• Work with stream leads during ERP implementation and take the IT stream lead role in Procurement and Projects.
• Advise stakeholders on system improvements and best practices.
• Manage IT-related requests for projects & procurement tools.
• Contribute to the development of the IT roadmap and assist in budget planning for relevant systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably IFS) and project & procurement tools.
• Knowledge of business processes in procurement and project management.
• Experience in leading system configuration and development with external vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the energy or construction sectors.
• Knowledge of IT governance, Agile/Hybrid development, and IT management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Understanding of financial processes within ERP systems.
