Supply Chain Quality Manager

Together with 280 colleagues from over 35 nationalities, we are building a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations in prime locations where electric drivers can charge their vehicles with renewable energy from the sun and wind. We have recently been voted the best charging network in the UK, France and the Netherlands, which is a testimony to our drive to offer the best charging experience to EV drivers.

Your role

As our Supply Chain Quality Manager, you will be an integral part of an experienced and international team and you will be responsible for delivering high-quality charging stations across all our existing and new markets. You are working in close cooperation with our architects, our construction managers and mainly the external partners that form our supply chain for construction.

In concrete terms, this means you:

• Identifying and monitoring quality KPIs for a diverse array of materials and products required for building a Fastned station;
• Collaborating closely with both existing and new suppliers to establish quality assurance procedures;
• Addressing quality issues and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to apply best practices in implementing parts traceability and other tools to meet the challenges of our expanding network of charging stations;
• Documenting processes and procedures in a structured manner.

Job requirements

Who we're looking for

You have great analytical skills and has an eye for detail. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You are a real team player and you have the ability to think on your own feet - you feel comfortable taking initiative and responsibility. You are not afraid to make mistakes and you are always keen to keep on learning. “Think like a founder” is something you identify easily with. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• You have a genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned’s mission to create freedom for electric drivers;
• 3+ years relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance or similar role. That being said, we encourage you to apply coming from different backgrounds if you identify with the content you're reading;
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related area;
• Other Quality-related certifications/experiences are beneficial (for instance, ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma etc.);
• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of initiative;
• Ability to work in a structured manner and prioritise your tasks efficiently;
• Willingness to travel within Europe;
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Dutch or German or French or Spanish are a plus - not a must;
• Possession of a valid driver's license would be beneficial.
