Intern Business Development

Kitepower is on a mission to contribute to a more sustainable world by flying kites that generate electricity. Founded as a spin-out of Delft University of Technology, we are developing our first commercial system to power farms, construction sites and (island) communities with renewable airborne wind energy.

We are looking for an intern to join our commercial team based in Delft. The commercial team is responsible for business development and generating customer leads towards commercial availability of our systems. You will have a challenging internship in renewable energy to apply your academic knowledge and gain valuable working experience.

Job Tasks

• Support the establishment of presence in Germany
• Work directly with the CEO
• Identify business opportunities for Kitepower
• Support grant identification and application
• Work at home with regular check-ins on site in Freiburg and Delft

Job Profile

• Studies in the field of Business, Economics, Engineering or Communication
• Affinity with engineering and/or renewable energy
• Good communication and organization skills
• Fluent written/spoken English and German
• Good observation skills and ability to give reliable feedback
• Good practical technical understanding
