Bloom Energy Engineering modeling team provides solutions in one of today's most exciting technologies using latest cutting-edge tools in the areas of Computational fluid dynamics, Structural Analysis and ASPEN simulations and looking for a Structural Analysis Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Intern to join its world class team.
Position Responsibilities
- Structural analysis
- Assist in solving the mechanical design problems related to high temperature applications using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
- Able to validate the simulations using hand calculations for sanity checks
- Grid Generation, Model setup and solving:
- Understanding of how-to setup and solve non-linear FE analysis problems using ABAQUS and Hypermesh tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with FEA & Mechanical Design background
- Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of fundamentals of the strength of materials
- Exposure to FEA tools such as ABAQUS\HYPERMESH
- Python programming and Scripting is advantageous
- Very good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in teams
- Work experience in the process industry is a plus but is not required.

Salary Ranges:
$45.75 - $50.00
