Your team ensures our products are assembled, tested and maintained on schedule, meeting functionality, reliability and performance requirements.
The A&T team develops and documents procedures for next-generation products, delivering verified methods, tools and protocols that can be replicated by Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams worldwide. Assembly and dry-testing of Power-Take Off (PTO) systems in Sweden as well as assembly, operations and maintenance of our demonstration farm off the coast in northern Portugal are part of the scope, where new tools and methods are tested and qualified for commercial use.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership, people leadership and program management across our sites. Travel between sites is required. You will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain & Quality and Marine Operations teams to deliver new product programs.
Responsibilities
Technology & Product Leadership

- Ensure compliance with industry, safety and environmental standards, always maintaining human safety as the top priority in all operations and development efforts.
- Guide product design to meet manufacturing, assembly and service requirements.
- Feedback insight from assembly, testing and operations to engineering teams to continuously improve product design and component selection.
- Ensure technology and operational decisions support scalability, manufacturability and industrialization.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders. Represent the company in dialogues related to Assembly, Testing and O&M methods.
- Select and implement digital tools, methods, and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure the organization's technology infrastructure supports its needs.

- People leadership across the A&T team, with engineers and technicians covering Assembly, Testing, Analysis, Operations, and Documentation functions.
- Plan and execute all Assembly & Test activities to meet schedule, cost and performance goals.
- Lead A&T team members across Product teams covering Wave Energy Converters and Collection hubs. Prioritize and supervise activities and deliverables.

- Develop and execute a talent strategy to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
- Develop a work environment that supports each team member in reaching their full potential. Manage, support and evaluate engineers' performance.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading assembly, integration and/or test teams developing advanced systems or equipment in industries relevant to ocean energy.
