Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician III! As an Energy Technician III, you will acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.

Successful candidates will reside in Knoxville, Tennessee for daily travel within the region.

• Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
• Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
• Record and report to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications
• Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
• Travel throughout a defined territory

• High school or Associates Degree

• Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day (this is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers' homes)
