Job Description

Are you passionate about workplace safety and sustainability? Join our growing and collaborative team in Lyndhurst and help create a safe, efficient, and high performing warehouse environment that supports the future of clean energy.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Safety Agent to oversee workplace warehouse and logistics operations. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations, and practise safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment of Vestas' HSE strategy and zero-accident culture
  • Promote HSE awareness and behavioral change across the site
  • Provide expert advice on safety programs and compliance
  • Support development and implementation of site-specific HSE initiatives
  • Facilitate safety training and awareness campaigns
  • Monitor safety performance and support incident resolution

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or working toward) preferred.
  • Incident investigation training (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot) is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work across operational areas as required.

Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics, tools management, or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management principles.
  • Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safe behaviours at all levels.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound safety recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build relationships, coach staff, and foster a positive safety culture.
  • Competent in reporting, documentation, and use of digital HSE systems.
  • Adaptable and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
