Job Description
The Solar Sales Manager at Solar Pros is a pivotal role focused on leading and managing the solar lead generation team. This position is designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about solar energy and have a strong background in sales management. The role involves training team members, developing sales protocols, and managing the onboarding process for new recruits, all while contributing to the company's mission of transforming energy infrastructure across the US and Puerto Rico.
Responsibilities
- Proficient at solar lead generation, delivering high-quality residential leads to Solar Pros.
- Train team members to achieve proficiency in lead generation.
- Provide seamless in-home sales presentations to educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy.
- Develop and implement effective sales protocols and training programs to enhance sales force productivity.
- Manage the assigned region, including hiring additional sales professionals as needed.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new recruits, ensuring a smooth hiring experience.
- Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to refine skills and foster a positive team environment.
- Represent Solar Pros professionally and contribute to raising awareness of solar power.
Requirements
- Previous management experience in sales or lead generation within a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Experience with commission-based compensation packages is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Eagerness to grow and contribute to a cutting-edge industry.
- Ability to build positive and lasting relationships with team members.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the solar industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of renewable energy trends and technologies.
