Job Description
British Solar Renewables creates smart energy systems for a net zero carbon future. British Solar Renewables develops (BSR Energy), builds (BSR EPC), and maintains (BSR O&M) utility-scale solar, wind and storage projects in the UK and internationally. Having developed and built in excess of 700MWp BSR are a major contributor to the UK Renewable Energy Sector.

About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. The primary focus of this role will be processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and maintaining strong financial records.
What we need from you
- Accurately process a high volume of purchase invoices using Sage.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes where required.
- Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for audit and reporting purposes.
- Assist with month-end procedures including reconciliations and reporting.
- Support the wider finance team with administrative tasks as required.
What skills will you have
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to support colleagues.
