Internal Audit Manager (m/w/d)

Job Description

As a Junior Audit Manager (m/f/d), the role supports the effective execution of the internal audit function across the organization. With a focus on risk-based auditing and compliance, it contributes to ensuring transparency and operational integrity. Positioned within a dynamic, international environment, the role offers valuable exposure to key governance processes and cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do

• You will support the creation and maintenance of audit guidelines and the audit manual
• You will support the ongoing risk assessment process
• You will assist in drafting the annual risk-based audit plan
• You will support defining the scope of work for audit engagements together with the audit lead
• You will gather and assess information required for the preparation of audit engagements
• You will conduct audit assurance and consulting engagements
• You will support the planning and facilitation of kick-off meetings, status updates, and exit meetings with auditees
• You will prepare audit reports
• You will monitor the implementation of action plans as part of the follow-up process for audited units
• You will support the audit quality assurance and improvement program
• You will participate in continuous professional education to maintain and develop audit competencies

What you’ll need to succeed

• Degree in economics, business administration, or law, or a related field
• Preferably professional experience in internal, external audit, compliance, risk management, internal controls or similar
• Preferably experience in analyzing business processes
• Analytical and structured thinking
• Team-focused and cooperative with good communication skills and initiative
• Intercultural competence
• Business fluent German and English
• Willingness to travel 30-50%
