Are you eager to learn and grow both professionally and personally? Then this opportunity might be perfect for you!

European Energy is a green company with exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X, battery storage systems (BESS), and carbon capture. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.

Your New Team

You will join our Commercial Asset Management team, which consists of 20 colleagues located across Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, and Poland. The team’s primary responsibility is to provide commercial asset management services for renewable energy assets owned by external investors and European Energy’s IPP portfolio.

In Vilnius, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for the Baltics, contributing to the management of solar and wind assets in Lithuania and the surrounding region.

Your New Role

As our new Associate, you will support the commercial asset management of renewable energy projects in Lithuania. You will collaborate with experienced Commercial Asset Managers and contribute to the development of our asset management function.

Scope of Work

  • Take commercial responsibility for selected solar PV and wind assets in Lithuania.
  • Assist with administrative and ad-hoc tasks, including document handling, data analysis, and communication with business partners.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Group Finance, PPA, and Project teams.
  • Support income and expense control for operational projects.
  • Follow up on financial budgets, including deviation analysis and liquidity forecasts.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and monitor contractual obligations (ratios, guarantees, warranties, etc.).
  • Contribute ideas for commercial and financial optimization.
  • Support investor and bank reporting.

Qualifications

You probably hold a degree in finance, economics, business administration or similar. You may be newly graduated or with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

In addition, we are looking for:

  • Strong financial literacy and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (financial modelling, reporting, etc.).
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
  • You are structured, open-minded, and eager to learn. You have a commercial mindset and enjoy contributing ideas and improvements.

We Offer

  • A collaborative, inclusive, and agile work culture.
  • Hybrid work options and flexible working hours.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Social events, networking opportunities, and annual company trips.
  • A shared vision for the green transition and a strong sense of purpose.

European Energy is an international company founded in 2004 with headquarters in Copenhagen. We operate from the development, design, financing, construction, operation, and selling of wind- and solar assets on land and offshore globally. As part of this, we are also active in M&A activities across the whole value chain. Furthermore, we develop future energy solutions, e.g. Power-to-X, CO2 emission, and battery storage.

We are now more than 900 employees from 46 nationalities, and are represented in 22 countries. We are growing rapidly in both Copenhagen and across our global offices. We all work for our common goal: to be the most innovative partner within the green transition and to create The Power of Tomorrow, Today.

Our working environment is built on mutual respect for the varied strengths and talents of our employees, with a flat hierarchy and entrepreneurial thinking at its foundation. Our employees value our flexible working culture, permitting better reconciliation of work and personal life. We are a team, whether it is in the workplace, on our company trips, on social events, or during our weekly company training sessions.
