Finance Specialist / Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Finance & Tax Specialist / Supervisor with solid hands-on experience in taxation and financial compliance to join our dynamic team in Turkey. This role focuses on supporting day-to-day financial and tax compliance activities, coordinating with third-party accounting firms, and collaborating with regional teams and headquarters in China.

This position is suitable for professionals at an early to mid-stage of their career who are looking to further develop their expertise within a multinational and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support full compliance with Turkish financial and tax standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with third-party accounting firms on accounting, tax compliance, and annual financial reporting (e.g., AGM preparation) for Goldwind Turkey.
• Collaborate with headquarters in China to support regular financial analysis and reporting.
• Operate and maintain headquarters' financial software and systems; support finance process automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Support the implementation and follow-up of financial procedures and compliance guidelines in line with corporate standards.
• Review financial and tax-related contract terms, project budgets, expense reimbursements, and payment processes.
• Provide financial and compliance support to the local team in alignment with group policies and Turkish tax regulations.
• Assist in monitoring the financial life cycle of projects, including cost control, risk tracking, and profit analysis.
• Support coordination with auditors and tax authorities during audits, inspections, and reporting processes.
• Support tax analyses and contribute to tax efficiency and compliance reviews.
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support regional finance and tax activities in other CAMENA countries when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or tax-related roles.
• Good knowledge of Turkish financial and tax regulations.
• Good working proficiency in English.
• Experience with financial systems and accounting software; familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Big Four accounting firms, Chinese-invested, or multinational companies is a plus.
• Prior exposure to regional or cross-country financial operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tax compliance, audits, and basic transfer pricing concepts is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the CAMENA region if required.
