C#/.NET Backend Developer - eMobility (SaaS)

Our Tech Stack

The Deftpower platform is built in C#/.NET. We are heavily using Azure Functions to keep our platform as scalable as possible. We adopt a microservice architecture where services communicate with each other mainly via the Azure Service Bus. Data storage is done in a variety of ways, but Cosmos and Azure SQL databases are used most. Monitoring and logging is done with Application Insights and Grafana as well as PowerBI dashboards. The portal that interacts with the backend is written in Angular, while our mobile applications are developed in React Native. In general, we use Azure's PaaS components wherever possible to stay up to date and ready for scale.

About the job

As Backend Developer at Deftpower you co-develop the SaaS platform that powers the future of smart charging. You join the Smart Charging team, where you solve puzzles that have never been solved before and bring your own ideas to the product. What makes this role different is our way of working: with Shape Up cycles of six weeks you get focus, ownership and the chance to deliver something concrete every time! Thanks to great collaboration, the team is very close-knit and strong. Joining one of the regular team activities will be highly appreciated!

• Design and build backend services in C#/.NET using Azure Functions and microservice architecture
• Integrate external systems and create secure, scalable solutions with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL and Service Bus
• Monitor and improve performance with Application Insights, Grafana and Power BI
• Brainstorm and experiment with your squad to deliver innovative features
• Collaborate with Developers, Wierd as Team Lead and Sander as Product Owner!

• Salary range: Between ???4500,- and ???6800,- a month

About you

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong knowledge of C# .NET, microservices architecture and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Azure PaaS components such as Service Bus, Function Apps, Container Services, Azure SQL or CosmosDB
• You must have valid work visa for working in NL and you are willing to come to the office in Arnhem a few times a week
