At Rabot Energy, our mobile app is the primary interface between customers and their energy usage. From dynamic pricing insights and EV charging to smart home integrations and real-time consumption tracking - the app is where energy becomes transparent and actionable.
As a Working Student in Mobile Development, you won't just observe - you'll contribute to a production-grade Flutter application used by thousands of customers.
You will work with our agile product squads, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and data teams to continuously improve the customer experience.

- Implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Support the integration of smart assets such as EVs, heat pumps, and smart meters into the mobile experience
- Collaborate with backend engineers to connect APIs and display complex energy data meaningfully
- Work closely with Product and Design to deliver user-centric solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
- Explore and apply AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and code quality
What You Bring
Must-Have Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- First practical experience in mobile development
- Experience with Flutter (academic, personal, or professional projects)
- Solid programming fundamentals and understanding of clean code principles
- Basic understanding of APIs and client-server communication
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Available for at least 6-12 months
- Available for 20 hours per week
- Fluent in English, ideally understanding German
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience publishing or maintaining mobile apps
- Familiarity with state management patterns in Flutter
- Interest in UX, mobile performance, or analytics
- Curiosity about energy tech, IoT, or smart home systems
What Success Looks Like (First 3 Months)
- You're contributing meaningful code to production systems
- You understand how our platform connects assets, customers, and data
- Engineers trust your reliability and ownership
- You proactively use AI tools and modern workflows to improve efficiency
- You demonstrate both technical growth and strong business awareness
Why Join Rabot Energy
- Be part of a mission-driven company shaping the future of green energy in Europe
- Work with modern technologies and a talented, passionate engineering team
- Access to learning, development, and well-being programs, including Urban Sports Club membership
- Flat hierarchies, quick decisions, and space to make a real impact
For all our positions, we are open to providing flexible work arrangements to accommodate the unique needs of each individual.
