Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) - Partner Integrations B2B2C
Rabot Energy is an independent provider of dynamic electricity tariffs with 100% green energy. Through our innovative procurement strategies, we ensure both ecological sustainability and cost optimization in home energy management. By passing on wholesale electricity market prices directly to our customers, we are able to reduce their electricity bills by an average of 35%.
Owners of electric vehicles and smart meters benefit particularly from our dynamic electricity tariff, as they can automatically charge their vehicles at home when electricity prices on the exchange are especially low. In the Rabot Energy app, charging preferences can be easily set and current market electricity prices can be tracked in real time.
With our intelligent charging solutions, we actively contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy in Germany's overall electricity consumption.
Our vision is to give every customer the opportunity to manage their energy consumption in a smart way while conserving the environment and natural resources. By offering smart charging and energy management solutions, Rabot Energy actively helps drive the energy transition forward. With this idea, we have already won the trust of over 100,000 customers.
Why Now?
The energy market is going through its biggest shift in 50 years. We no longer just manage electricity, we make it intelligent. RABOT is growing triple digits. We have the product, we have the market fit, now we need you to take the engine to full speed. We're not looking for administrators, we're looking for architects of our growth.
Concretely, we're building a new Partner Integrations team (B2B2C) - and you're one of its first engineers. You lay the technical foundation this team will grow on.
Your Mission
Our B2B2C channel brings RABOT to customers we couldn't reach on our own - through partners. Every new partnership means new integrations, new APIs, new flows: reliable, clean and scalable.
You build the backend systems and APIs that make these partner integrations happen. You design robust, well-documented interfaces, understand the partner domain deeply, and optimize the downstream systems behind it. As one of the first engineers on the new Partner Integrations team, you shape architecture and standards from day one - in close collaboration with our Platform teams.
Your Results
We think in outcomes, not task lists. If you're successful, here's what that looks like:
Month 3 (Ramp-up)
- You've gained a solid understanding of the partner domain and our systems.
- You implement tasks independently with some guidance and support simpler partner-related work.
Month 6 (Performance)
- You fully understand the partner domain and work completely independently on partner operations and API adjustments.
- You spot inefficiencies and propose concrete solutions.
Month 12 (Scale)
- You adapt backend and downstream systems to fit API needs and optimize the flows.
- You implement the improvements you've identified and raise the solution architecture of the partner domain to a higher level.
- You work closely with the Platform teams to continuously improve the implementation.
Who We Are Looking For
- API architect: You design JSON-based Web APIs that others enjoy integrating with - well thought-out, robust and well-documented. API design is a core skill for you, not an afterthought.
- .NET pro: You're strong in C#, ASP.NET and EF Core (PostgreSQL) and bring several years of experience (5-8 years).
- Systems thinker: You think in software architecture and resilience, not individual endpoints. You build systems that stay stable under load and in failure scenarios.
- Communicator: You explain technical topics clearly and work closely with Product, the Platform teams and partners.
- Owner: You take ownership, work in a structured way and handle ambiguity well - especially in a team that's just taking shape.
Bonus: Experience with gRPC APIs, micro-services, Azure or GCP, and CI/CD.
What We Offer
- Impact: Every partner integration you build brings RABOT to customers we otherwise wouldn't reach - your code opens new channels.
- Ownership: You're one of the first engineers on the new Partner Integrations team and shape architecture and standards from day one.
- Culture: Transparent collaboration. We celebrate mistakes as long as we learn from them.
Your Extras
- Employee discount on RABOT Energy electricity tariff
- Urban Sports Club partnership + Deutschlandticket
