Karriere bei ACCURE Battery Intelligence

Zuletzt aktualisiert am 2025-01-31 | Ein Problem melden

At ACCURE, we empower batteries and those who use them. Batteries are a key element of our clean energy and mobility future. ACCURE makes batteries safe, reliable, and sustainable through the power of the cloud. Using our highly scalable monitoring and optimization platform, we drastically improve the performance of batteries in electric vehicles and grid storage systems around the world.

Our mission: Safe and sustainable batteries for a clean energy future.

To do this, we need passionate builders and storytellers. At ACCURE, people with diverse backgrounds work together on our common vision of a clean energy future. We value passion and humbleness and are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our fast-growing international team.

Your Role

  • Battery intelligence into products: You’ll bring your deep battery expertise into product development by shaping intelligent, data-driven features in our battery analytics platform. Your models and insights won’t just live in notebooks — they will ship as scalable software that delivers real value to customers.
  • From science to product: Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to design, implement, and validate battery algorithms that support features like state estimation, degradation analytics, and safety indicators — always with a view toward reliability, performance, and customer needs.
  • Own product features end-to-end: From prototyping to production, you’ll be responsible for the technical feasibility, integration, and continuous improvement of new battery analytics features — ensuring they are robust, maintainable, and aligned with platform architecture.
  • Customer impact through platform scaling: Help scale our product to support diverse fleets of stationary storage and EV batteries. You’ll contribute to onboarding processes, understand customer use cases, and ensure that new insights are accurately and efficiently delivered at scale.
  • Advance our capabilities: Drive innovation in battery analytics, from refining electrochemical models and estimation techniques (e.g. SoC, SoH, SoP) to exploring novel uses of machine learning in diagnostics and lifetime forecasting.
  • Collaborative development: You’ll work in an agile, cross-functional team with Product, Engineering, and Data Science. You’ll take ownership of development streams while staying aligned with product goals and roadmap priorities.

Your Skills

  • Battery systems expertise: You have a solid foundation in lithium-ion battery technology and battery analytics. You're familiar with BMS signals, sensor data, and the structure of real-world battery systems. You understand materials, degradation mechanisms, and established estimation methods (e.g. SoH, SoC, SoP).
  • Product-oriented mindset: You enjoy building features that solve real problems. You understand how to balance scientific rigor with technical feasibility and customer needs. You’re motivated by shipping working software, not just publishing results.
  • Software engineering fluency: You write clean, testable Python code and have experience with version control (Git). You’re comfortable implementing data pipelines and can design algorithms that are computationally efficient and scalable.
  • Data handling experience: You’ve worked with time-series data, ideally from battery systems, and know how to handle noisy real-world signals. Experience with data engineering, cloud platforms, or large-scale battery datasets is a plus.
  • Teamwork and ownership: You thrive in a dynamic environment with cross-disciplinary collaboration. You’re communicative, proactive, and take ownership of your work through the full development cycle.
  • Language skills: Fluent English is required. German is a plus.

Our Offer

  • Impact: Join a collaborative, growing start-up environment in a role that has a significant impact on all levels of our organization.
  • Shape your role: Actively shape this role and its scope with us, depending on your expertise and preferences.
  • Work-life-balance: Trust-based, flexible working hours, 30-day vacation entitlement.
  • Carnival: We love carnival. That's why we're giving you Rose Monday as an extra day of holiday. ALAAF!
  • Compensation: Performance-based compensation plan.
  • Remote or office based: It’s your choice – either work from our lovely office in Aachen, choose a co-working space wherever you live or work from home (somewhere in Europe).
  • Company events: Two 5-day company onsites per year
  • Never stop learning: Personal development plan and budget that you can actively shape.
  • A job that shapes the future and turns our planet greener one battery at a time.

At ACCURE, we're committed to cultivating an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion. We believe our unique qualities must be celebrated as they are critical to our innovation. It's essential to us that you bring your authentic self to work every single day, no matter your age, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, neurodiversity, or otherwise. Inclusion isn't just an initiative at ACCURE. We strive to embed it not just into our core values but throughout our entire ecosystem.
