As a strategic buyer, you are responsible for developing a consumables, spare parts and supplier strategy, carrying out tenders, negotiating contracts and orders. You will also manage and coordinate the procurement interface management and the purchasing team at our location in Norddeich.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading procurement interface management between all relevant departments such as service organizations, warehouse, engineering, purchasing and legal departments
- Technical and organizational management of the purchasing team in Norddeich, including task distribution and tracking
- Conducting market analyzes for various materials, spare parts and services
- Development of a consumables and spare parts strategy
- Development of new suppliers and systematic supplier development
- Organizing and conducting supplier assessments and audits
- Manage the preparation and evaluation of tenders, negotiation of contracts, commissioning, tracking of order status and delivery dates
- Support in inventory planning, execution and the creation of the associated reports
- General support on process and cost optimization projects in collaboration with O&M Hub Support and Senior O&M Manager
- Further development and implementation of purchasing strategies
- Active participation in the further development of a new ERP/CMMS system as well as Workday or other purchasing software

Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable commercial training
- Good knowledge of English
- Advanced MS Office knowledge
- Good knowledge of using common ERP/CMMS systems
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Good commercial and technical understanding
- Methodical and structured way of working, but with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills, both in individual and group situations
- Experience applying organizational standards in request development
