Financial Analyst

The Financial Analysis team supports the Development/M&A teams by preparing the financial models and analysis of solar power plants, supporting the evaluation of potential investment opportunities, and maintaining the model portfolio for all existing and new power plants. The Analyst also works closely with the VP of Project Finance by building and analysing financial models for Project Finance debt raising and providing scenario analyses of various financing opportunities.

Their main tasks will include:

• Build and manage financial models for M&A and Project Finance deals.
• Participate in end-to-end acquisition processes of solar.
• Managing the model portfolio for the existing and new power plants for quarterly valuation reporting purposes.
• Support in reporting the performance of each plant to management, investors and lenders and detecting signs of underperformance and their root cause.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in existing processes.

Desirable Skills

• Proven Experience in Financial Modelling with advanced Excel skills, VBA experience a plus
• A systematic, structured and rational approach
• Self-starter who thrives on a challenge
• Confidence in communicating with external parties
• Fluent in English and Spanish
