Lead Product Designer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Designer who can provide leadership in design, define strategy and deliver exceptional user experience across all products at Flo. Bring your ideas—the wilder and the crazier, the better — and establish Flo as the go-to renewable electricity retailer in Singapore and Australia.

We do that by making clean energy as cheap as conventional energy, investing in smart technology to reduce our operating costs and passing the savings to our members. And yes, it's not impossible.

What you will be doing

• Lead and motivate a growing team of designers
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, and Business to facilitate the discovery process and workshops, fostering alignment among teams on a shared vision
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Flo’s products, ensuring that the design strategy aligns seamlessly with the overarching company objectives
• Define, craft and evolve design systems that result in a consistent and outstanding user experience across all of Flo's products, platforms and countries that we operate in
• Engage actively in design processes, including user research, wireframing, and prototyping, to craft high-quality user interfaces hands-on
• Drive change through user and data insights
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively to convey the design vision and strategy

You will be a good candidate if you

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a product design role, including at least 2 years in a leadership position
• Proven leadership skills demonstrated through the successful management of design teams and projects
• A portfolio of work showcasing expertise in developing user-centered design solutions, creative strategies, and/or design systems for products across various platforms.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, user experience, and interactive design
• Experienced with experiments, such as A/B testing, and making data-driven decisions
• A history of building design teams that foster a culture of creativity and innovation
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and requirements
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey design concepts, strategies, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to address complex design problems
• Balanced ability to engage in high-level strategic thinking and hands-on design work
